Young Professionals Group
The newly formed Young Professionals Group of the Greater New York Chapter held its first event on November 8th at Town Tavern in Manhattan. Over 65 people attended the event and had the opportunity to meet and socialize with other young professionals who have been affected by ALS. The event raised over $2,700 through ticket sales, raffles and donations, and then a generous matching donation of $2,800 was received, bringing the fundraising total to $5,560. The Young Professionals Group is continuing to grow and looks forward to holding their second event in the spring of 2008.
