Foundation support enables The ALS Association (ALSA) to make a difference in the lives of ALS patients, family members and caregivers. Generous foundations enable ALSA to cover all the bases - research, patient and community services, public education, and advocacy - in providing help and hope to those facing the disease. ALSA's mission is to find a cure for and improve living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
The ALS Association is recognized as exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The ALS Association's federal tax ID number is 13-3616680.
