The Robert Wood Johnson Neuromuscular and ALS Center, located in the Clinical Academic Building (CAB) at 125 Paterson Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey, is part of the Department of Neurology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Medical School and is co-sponsored by The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter.
Geared toward helping patients live more productively and independently, the Center provides a coordinated program of medical treatment, rehabilitation techniques and psychological support in a warm and compassionate environment. Comprehensive assessments, diagnostic and follow-up tests, education and treatment are individualized for each patient.
Dr. Jerry M. Belsh, Director of The Robert Wood Johnson Neuromuscular and ALS Center and Chief of Division of Clinical Neurophysiology UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, heads the multidisciplinary treatment team of specialists that includes:

Social Work
Nutrition
Occupational Therapy
Physical Therapy
Pulmonology
Speech Pathology
Hours and Appointments
The ALS Center's multi-disciplinary teams sees patients on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month by appointment. The CAB building is readily accessible to patients in wheelchairs.
